Cheesy   Well for all members attending the 08 reunion, the good news is Stoker Stan has just purchased the Tot rum !! I may have been a bit generous in quantity, so those attending could be in luck! those who cannot make it, well sorry but lifes like that, some of us have all the luck. This years rum bosun is Don from Scotland a mate of mine, as I say some of us have all the luck !!!! Grin

Stan
Regards the Rum.
What label is it and can you buy it in any retail outlet as I am off to the St Vincent reunion in October and would like to take a couple of bottles for their raffle

Hi Gary, Woods is the current favourite, but Lambs old navy is good both 100% I have an account with Macro wholesalers , so we saved a few bob as I bought litre bottles. The price of decent rum seems to have gone up a lot, but if you had been coming to the Vic do your tot would have been assured ! I'll excuse you though seeing as I did a stint in poor old Vincent in (I think)1968. I am assured that the real Pussers rum has now all gone, like a lot of the better things in life I'm afraid !! Cry

Pusser's Rum has not gone, it's still alive and kicking - as many RNA wives will tell you when they see the results of tot issue the next morning!

You can buy Pussers from here.

Hope that helps.

Good one James, on investigation Macro do have that brand on the shelf, and your price looks good ! too late now though I've bought ours! never mind we will just have to drink it ! We are having our tot time before the Gala dinner, and we are putting up wine from the funds as well! so perhaps a milder rum is best eh Undecided

All you ever wanted to know about Pussers Rum.
http://www.pussers.com/

We are booked on a Royal Caribbean in December, we will be at the Island of Tortola for a day and will probably spend most of the time at the Pussers Rum store, check out the mugs, our son brought me one back for Christmas last year.
I used to know the UK Pusser's Rum Representative back in the 80's, he was a frequent visitor onboard Chrysanthemum.
Perhaps we can have a reunion in Florida one of these days and book a cruise to Tortola out of Port Canaveral.

Well I have just been advised that the topic "RUM" has not been posted in for 120 days.
So I have great pleasure in announcing that we have now got in store more rum for the 09 reunion (with eight more month of collecting to go) than we had at the 08 reunion.

Now I just thought you ought to know!!
