 A great post Crash, thanks. I note the Victorious plaque on the wall behind Mr Davis, and I suspect he may have actually  photographed the Kamikaze hit that caught Clary Gibbs, and possibly Fred Jackson.

     Another bit of real history departs.

  I remember the roughers very well Crash. I remember sitting in the For'ed dining room trying to eat a meal and the plates kept jumping off the table. The roll and pitch had food and men sliding across the deck, and the noise was awful.  It wasn't too bad down the boiler room. ???
